VISION
Wesley United Methodist Church is a Christ-centered congregation that believes in making the love of Christ real in action. This connection enables us to share God's Word through offering grace, love, and service to one another and to our community.
MISSION
We will live as intentional, inclusive, and invitational disciples. We will open doors that create opportunities to engage all people who seek a relationship with Christ. We will do this work by:
- Being welcoming and friendly
- Doing evangelical Outreach
- Caring and Praying for one another
- Serving our community, nation and world
WELCOMING STATEMENT
We, the congregation of Riverside Wesley United Methodist Church, are called to be disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We recognize that all are worthy of God's love and grace and seek to intentionally and publicly affirm our support and love for all God's children regardless of age, sex, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, faith history, education, marital status, economic status, physical or mental condition.
At the same time that we do this, we understand and accept that we will have different opinions; however, we welcome all people into our congregation to engage in a fruitful discipleship that will lead us to greater understanding of one another and our own faith rooted in the love of God.
